This fiberglass rope is crafted from continuous, textured C or E glass filament yarns, which endows it with remarkable strength, durability, and flexibility. Designed for use in high-temperature environments up to 1000ºF, the rope features a fiberglass yarn core surrounded by a braided fiberglass sheath, creating a precise diameter for the creation of controlled compression seals. Fiberglass rope is available in both dense and soft varieties and can be produced in either round or square profiles to meet the specific requirements of the customer.
Fiberglass Rope Wick Application:
1. Insulation: Fiberglass rope is used for a variety of insulation materials, such as blankets, fire curtains, and insulation and wrapping of copper and other metal pipes and conduits.
2. High-temperature seals: This material is often used for gasket seals in boilers, ovens, and furnaces. Its high-temperature resistance makes it suitable for continuous temperature environments up to 1000 degrees Fahrenheit (about 540 degrees Celsius).
