Basalt Fiber Fireproof Fabric is made of basalt fiber roving, which is obtained by texturing or volumetric processing of basalt raw yarn with high-pressure air. Basalt Fiber Fireproof Fabric can be woven into plain or satin weave and can be coated with a layer of harmless substances. The diameter of basalt fiber cloth is between 9-13 microns and the width is 1-2 meters. Its melting temperature is as high as 1250 degrees Celsius and the operating temperature range is 500-980 degrees Celsius. Unlike synthetic fibers and glass fibers, Basalt Fiber Fireproof Fabric does not soften at high temperatures, so it provides a real fire barrier for high-performance applications in infrastructure, transportation and industry.
