**Flame Gauze** (also known as fire-blocking net, fire-proof grille or flame blocker) installed in ISO tank containers is mainly used for the following functions:

### **1. Prevent flame propagation (fire-blocking function)**
- When the flammable gas or vapor inside the tank container is accidentally ignited, the Flame Gauze can block the flame from spreading outward through its **metal grid structure**, avoiding the external environment fire or explosion.
- The principle is to use the **heat dissipation effect** and **slit barrier effect** of the metal wire mesh to reduce the high temperature of the flame to below the ignition point, thereby extinguishing the flame.

### **2. Allow gas circulation (ventilation function)**
- While blocking the fire, the Flame Gauze will not completely close the space, and can still ensure **free circulation of gas inside and outside the tank container**, avoiding pressure accumulation (such as vapor generated by volatile chemicals).
- This is crucial to prevent the formation of **flammable mixed gas** or negative pressure deformation in the tank.

### **3. Explosion-proof protection**
- In the storage and transportation of flammable liquids or gases, the Flame Gauze can be used as a **passive explosion-proof device** to reduce the risk of explosion caused by static electricity, external fire sources, etc.
